ConLab receives a Russian Science Foundation grant

ConLab receives a new grant from the Russian Science Foundation. The project is "Argument structure, voice and valence change in the languages of Western Siberia".

The project (19-78-10139) aims to conduct a multifaceted study of voice and valency-changing operations in the languages of Western Siberia and neighbouring regions (Ob-Ugric, Samoyedic and others). This includes the collection and processing of primary language data, followed by synchronic, diachronic and areal analyses of these categories from a general theoretical and a typological perspective.
