Members of the lab together with School of Linguistics received grant funding from the Russian Science Foundation
Members of the Linguistic Convergence Laboratory and School of Linguistics won RSF grant "Research conducted by scientific groups under the supervision of young scholars" for their common project.
Research project led by Natalia Zevakhina is called "When the verb is not a verb: non-finite constructions in the languages of Russia". Its goal is to compile and analyse language data on non-finite polypredicative constructions and, as a result, to unveil the typological and theoretical patterns of their use. The project includes the Uralic and Chukotko-Kamchatkan languages, as well as languages of the Caucasus.
